Art Garfunkel 參與 Mike Batt 的《The Hunting of the Snark》

1986 年，Mike Batt 發行了這張非凡的概念專輯，將 Lewis Carroll 著名的無厘頭詩作《The Hunting of the Snark》轉化為一部音樂作品。錄音早在 1984 年便已開始。Batt 將搖滾、流行與交響元素結合在一起，並集結了來自不同國家的知名藝人。
Art Garfunkel 在這部作品中擔任核心角色「The Baker」（麵包師）。作為故事中的人物之一，The Baker 是尋找神秘 Snark 的探險隊成員。Art Garfunkel 在專輯中演唱了數個重要的聲樂段落。

這張專輯於 1986 年在英國及歐洲以 LP、MC 和 CD 等形式發行，其中包括由 Batt 自有唱片品牌 Adventure Records 與 Epic 合作推出的版本。Art Garfunkel 參與的錄音早已於此前數年間完成。
1987 年 5 月 12 日，《The Hunting of the Snark》在倫敦 Royal Albert Hall 以音樂會形式演出。Art Garfunkel 並未參與這場演出。他的演唱部分收錄於概念專輯的錄音室版本中。
