On three tracks of the new Christmas album Advent, Art Garfunkel appears together with his son Art Garfunkel Jr. The duets are marked by precise harmony, emotional depth, and subtle arrangements that make the special bond between father and son clearly audible.

„The First Noël“ – In this classic duet, the voices of father and son merge into a calm, sustained harmony. Art Garfunkel takes the passages that highlight his characteristic warm voice, while Art Garfunkel Jr. adds modern nuances and dynamic accents. The arrangement is kept minimal to emphasize the intimacy of the voices and the meditative mood of the piece.

„Happy Xmas (War Is Over)“ – Released earlier as a single on November 7, 2025, this duet showcases the unmistakable father-son chemistry. The interpretation combines classical melodies with subtle modern elements, emphasizing the festive message in a compelling way.

„Auld Lang Syne“ – This Scottish classic, traditionally sung at New Year, gains a special depth through the father-son combination. The voices complement each other in contrast: Art Garfunkel contributes experience and nostalgic tone, while Art Garfunkel Jr. provides rhythmic nuances and modern accents.
