A Collection of Prose Poems
This collection of work reflects another aspect of the creative talents of Art Garfunkel. These prose poems were written in the 1980's and published in 1989. Autographed copies of Still Water available.
"It seems that the artist's agenda is to be true to feelings and emotions, fearlessly, so that we can all recognize ourselves," Garfunkel said. "Fearlessly is the key word. We give ourselves a catharsis by recognizing the many colors of human nature, including the darks. My notion of such an artist is one who has the bravery to deal with the complexity of the human heart and psyche. That's where I'm coming from, to the best of my ability."
