Dave, when did you first start working with Art?
“I first started working with Art in Spring 2016. I got a call one day from Kim Bullard, who plays keyboards on tour with Elton John - Art was looking for a pianist to join him for some shows in the UK at Hampton Court Palace and the famous Glastonbury Festival, so Kim introduced me.
A few weeks later, Art came to my apartment in New York and we started rehearsing The Sound of Silence, All I Know, Scarborough Fair - all those classic songs. We found musical chemistry pretty quickly, and since then we’ve worked hard to perfect the keyboard arrangements. We’ve played some magnificent stages around the world in the past year, from outdoor festivals in Europe to iconic concert halls like the Vienna Konzerthaus and Kennedy Center.”
