Day 5 - January 1, 2000
THE SHOW MUST GO ON

The New Year's party aboard the ship was fantastic, 3 other ships from the Ocean Explorer fleet joined us in Whalers Bay and their passengers were ferried across to our ship. Art's performance with the Chieftains on New Year's Eve was great.

We are now back in The Drake Passage, whilst setting up our equipment for our show, I became seasick, I managed to struggle through the soundcheck. Art gave me a patch to wear, and I'm pleased to say it worked, by show time I was as right as rain.

Art, Kim, Warren and Eric performed 2 great shows, "Bridge Over Troubled Water" received 2 standing ovations.

Our set list was as follows:
Homeward Bound
A Heart In New York
Scarborough Fair
I Only Have Eyes For You
Skywriter
El Condor Pasa
The Water Is Wide,
( duet with Kim Garfunkel and Derek Bell (Harpist) and Paddy Moloney (Piper) from the Chieftains)
Dueling Banjos
All I Know
Bright Eyes
Mrs. Robinson
Bridge Over Troubled Water
Feeling Groovy (James Garfunkel)
Kathy's Song
Sounds Of Silence
Goodnight My Love

We were the only group to perform while the ship was moving.
